AIX IHS Web Server Hangs With Segmentation Faults (Doc ID 1341786.1)

IBM AIX on POWER Systems (32-bit)
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

Symptoms

The 10g Content Server is installed on AIX. The IBM HTTP Server 6 is being used for web access.

On a periodic basis IHS gets into a hung state. The IHS error.log will show segmentation faults:

[Tue May 10 10:17:48 2011] [notice] child pid 569344 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue May 10 10:18:33 2011] [notice] child pid 569470 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
