Symptoms

"Bigger type length than Maximum" when trying to query MySQL data from SQL Developer.

Retrieval of data works fine in SQLPlus:
SQL> select <Column> from test@MySql;

But running the same query in SQL Developer is failing:
SQL> select <Column> from test@MySql;
Error report :
SQL-Error: Bigger type length than Maximum
