Symptoms
Experiencing serious performance issues when developing OWB mappings using the OWB 11.2.0.2 Design Center.
When compared with a similar 10.2 Design environment 11.2.0.2 seems to be 6-8 times slower.
The issue seems to occur when the Client and the Repository are on different geographical locations.
This can be verified by logging into the Design Center from the repository server in which case performance improves significantly.
