GoldenGate "Logging of Supplemental Redo Log Data is Disabled" (Doc ID 1347838.1)

Symptoms

When checking supplemental logging for a table, Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) reports it is disabled

GGSCI > info trandata CICSDATA.CICS_GROUP
Logging of supplemental redo log data is disabled for table CICSDATA.CICS_GROUP.


But querying the related DB table, the log group is shown and has been created for the table (e.g. CICSDATA.CICS_GROUP)

SQL> select * from dba_log_groups kk where kk.table_name='CICS_GROUP';

OWNER LOG_GROUP_NAME TABLE_NAME ALWAYS
------------------------------ ------------------------------
CICSDATA GGS_CICS_GROUP_1221105 CICS_GROUP ALWAYS

SQL> select * from dba_log_group_columns where table_name='CICS_GROUP';

OWNER          LOG_GROUP_NAME   TABLE_NAME   COLUMN_NAME  POSITION
-------------------------------------------------------------------
CICSDATA GGS_CICS_GROUP_1221105 CICS_GROUP    GROUP_CODE     1
