Symptoms

Registering a WSRP producer in Oracle Portal 10.1.4.2 fails with the following error message :

An error occurred when attempting to call the providers register function. (WWC-43134)
An error occurred during the call to the WSRP Provider: oracle.webdb.wsrp.client.design.TypeTranslationException: Error reading CLOB data.
