Getting Authentication Prompt When Accessing Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0 For Directory Contents (Doc ID 1350628.1)

Symptoms

I have set up an Oracle iPlanet  Web Sever 7.0 . When I go to see directory contents or get a directory listing,  I am presented with a popup saying "Authentication Required". I have tried setting "Listing Type" to 'Fancy' & 'Simple' under "Content Handling"->"General"->"Directory Listing". But that didn't help.
