Applies to:

Oracle OpenSSO - Version 7.0 to 8.0.2 [Release 7.0 to 8.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Setting the "Number of Concurrent Active User Session" effective to the value set. When the value is set to '1'. one expects that only one active user session is allowed. But it allows the same user to log in from multiple browsers concurrently.

To have this effective, the Session Quota Constraints should be set as well.

== Number of Active User Session ==

When the Number of Active User Session is set to the desired number, one expects that only that number of Active User Sessions to be concurrent.

This setting is done by logging into Realm , Configuration ---> Global Properties --> Session --> Dynamic Attributes

There is a setting to have it set to the desired number and it expected to be allowing on that many active session for the given user.

But it does not have the desired effect.
