As ESB table ORAESB.ESB_RELATION_XML grows in size, when ESB services are running; it is noticed that SQL operations done by the ESB application on table ORAESB.ESB_RELATION_XML cause a high amount of logical I/O's in the database and hence negatively impact database performance.
The following queries issued by the ESB application have been associated with this issue:
SELECT ID,SERVICE_GUID,OPERATION_GUID FROM ESB_RELATION_XML WHERE IS_STALE
SELECT SERVICE_GUID FROM ESB_RELATION_XML WHERE SERVICE_GUID
