New application credentials are not saved in ESSO Logon Manager 11.1.1.5.0 (Doc ID 1352336.1)

Symptoms


The ESSO-LM agent stopped responding to a web application after changes were made to the web site hosting the application. The application was fixed and the ESSO-LM agent began responding to the application for most of the users. Some of the users deleted the application credentials that were stored in the ESSO Logon Manager and the agent automatically detects the application with silent credential capture but the new credentials are not saved in Logon Manager.


Changes

Changes were made to the configuration of the web application by the application developers. The ESSO-LM agent stopped responding to the application and some of the users deleted their existing application credentials.

The customer also recently upgraded the agent to ESSO-LM 11.1.1.5.0 but the ESSO Administrative Console is still 11.1.1.1.0.
