Multiple Revisions Generated When Saving File Through WebDAV Even Though WebDAVReuseRevision Is Set To True (Doc ID 1352595.1)

Symptoms

There are many items that remain in Work In Progress (WIP) in the GenWWW status. When you look at the Doc Info page for these items, the latest revision has been released, while older revisions are in GenWWW. The revisions have all been checked in to Content Server in a relatively short timespan. They are being checked in through WebDAV, and a new revision is being created every time the user saves the file. This occurs even though the configuration entry WebDAVReuseRevision is set to true.

If the revisions are resubmitted, an error is generated:
