How to Redirect the BPM 10g Engine Log to an Alternative Location (Doc ID 1354615.1)

Usually, the BPM engine log location is defined in the engine configuration. However, in case of a cluster installation you may need to set a different location for each node. For example, if multiple nodes (WLS managed servers) run on the same box, you may need to redirect the engine logs of each node to a different folder to avoid collision.

Note that if several nodes of the same logical engine (same engine id) are writting log entries to a same file, this will result in missing messages and corrupted log files.

This document explains how to override the default log location for different nodes to avoid corrupted Engine logs.
