Flat Files (e.g., JSP, HTML Files) Not Updated: How To Clear The WebLogic Server Deployment Cache (Doc ID 1356144.1)

When a JEE archive like a WAR is deployed in WebLogic Server, it may be seen that certain flat non-class files (e.g., HTML, JSP, text, and Javascript files) contained within the WAR archive do not get updated in the new application. After redeployment, the new functionality is there, but the old non-updated html and scripts are still seen. As such, it appears that the files have been cached.

Restarting all the WebLogic Servers clears the problem. But is there a way to avoid this restart, in other words, a way to turn off the deployment cache?
