Display of datetime in a BAM report is incorect
(Doc ID 1356635.1)
Last updated on APRIL 23, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When choosing to format a datetime value in the client's local timezone or a
specific timezone the values in the report on the client machine would not be
in the correct timezone.
Example :
Send with EMS a row with datetime GMT+5 : 17/03/2011 11:00:01 . The BAM
server time is GMT+2. The data is introduced in the data object with the
datetime 17/03/2011 08:00:01 (converted to BAM server time) . Creating a
report , using the data object , setting Properties->Value Format->Adjust
Timezone from GMT To "Each browser's local time zone". On client computer the
timezone is GMT +2 , also on the browser . Visualizing the report the data is
displayed 17/03/2011 10:00:01 (considers the date from the data object as GMT+0
and adds the browser timezone +2).
Reproduced also in 11.1.1.4.0 and 11.1.1.5.0. Probably the fix will be included starting from 11.1.1.6 .
