WCI High Availability Feature Causes Frequent Portal Crashes and OutOfMemory Errors

When the front-end WCI portal web servers are configured to use the High Availability feature by configuring a cluster name value within the portalconfig.xml file, system instability is experienced whereby the portal servers are unstable and tend to crash with OutOfMemory errors from time to time. The frequency of crashes is dependent upon portal usage patterns and volume.
