Oracle BAM Stacked Bar Chart Does Not Pass Proper Parameters In Drill-Across or Hierarchy Drilling. (Doc ID 1357954.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 13, 2011

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Platform – BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version: 11.1.1.3.0 and later   [Release: 11gR1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using a 3D Stacked Bar report with a hierarchy associated to the ModuleName column, the modulename column is use to generate the sub-bars inside of the stacked bar.

The problem is that performing an drill-down action using the hierarchy associated to an stacked bar all the modulenames values are shown in the drill-down report:

For example you have an stacked bar with the "11/8 14 hrs" value on "X" axis , that stacked bar consists of 3 sub-bars with the values: 1, 1 and 2

If you do a drill down on the "2" value you will get another 3D Stacked Bar report with 3 bars (VALUE_A -1, VALUE_B-1, VALUE_C-2) that is the problem you are getting a report with 3 bars and you expecting to get a report with only one bar with the VALUE_C-2 value;it seems on the Drill-down report BAM shows the data for the complete time axis irrespective of which stack you clicked.
