Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In WebCenter Spaces, the status message for a different user can be modified by/from a different user/account:

a) Use the Activity Stream component and see what others users have done;
b) Click on a link for another username - you will see a popup that lets you see their details (photo, status message (if they have one) and links to access their profile page, to get connected and the ability to send them an email).
c) In the same component, click on your username (in an entry owned by you) - you will see the same details, plus you can also edit your status message.
d) If you edit your status message, and then click on the other user, suddenly you have the ability to edit their status too.

These changes get reflected in the other user's profile.
