(Doc ID 1359819.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 09, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition - Version 6.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Lets assume the environment has two set of servers, A and B.
Lets assume the BindID format for A is A-Bind-format (eg. uid=scarter,ou=people,dc=example,dc=com) and BindID format for B is B-Bind-format (eg. uid=scarter,ou=people,o=test.org).
The goal is to have the applications connecting to A with B-Bind-format also to be able to authenticate, in addition to A-Bind-format.
So PTA plugin is enabled in A with the PTA host set to B.
The goal is to know from the access logs of B servers what Binds are direct from the applications and what Binds are through PTA from A.
