Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 10g 10.1.4.3.

Everything had been working well in the past.

Since applying latest OVD merge patch to all OVD Servers, unable to expand nodes with OVD Manager (OVDM) on one of the OVD Servers only.  Expanding nodes on other OVD Server(s) from the same OVDM console continues to work ok.

Also, OVDM is installed in a client desktop and it is the same copy used to browse both working and nonworking directories.

The following OVDM error only occurs when making a connection to non-working environment:

LDAP Exception. Could not retrieve entry: Unwilling To Perform. LDAPException: other (53) Unwilling To Perform.

And following exception occurs in the OVD server log:

Tried "Reload From Server" in OVD Manager after connecting to the server, but it does not help.
