How can the User Status Icon be Removed if the IMP Service is not being Used? (Doc ID 1360068.1)

Goal

In the user profile, if you run the cursor over the icon next to the username, it shows as offline.

The icon status indicates the status of the Instant Messaging and Presence Service (IMP)  for a user, according to the following documentation:
