Updated Page Links in Navigation Model Do Not Show Immediate Effect (Doc ID 1360242.1)

Symptoms

After updating a page link destination URL in WebCenter navigation model, the new destination link does not show immediate effect under certain circumstances.
After server restart the data seems to get loaded correctly.


The following setup was used for reproducing the issue:

* In the navigation model, a link was created pointing to a page_1, specified with an externalID
* Accessing the navigation link via the externalID controller URL (for example, from a link created in UCM using the $wcUrl('externalId') function) displays page_1 correctly.
* Now edit the navigation model and change the destination for the link to a page_2
* Execute the externalID controller URL again, and see that it still forwards to page_1, the old information has been cached somewhere
