WebLogic Server Is Not Able To Start With Error: "java.net.SocketException: No such device or address" (Doc ID 1360932.1)

Symptoms

Installed Weblogic Server 10.3.4.0.1 core components with SUN jdk1.6.0_18, on Oracle Solaris 10  SPARC 64-bit using Solaris Zones .

When attempting to start the server, the following error occurs.

<Server subsystem failed. Reason: java.lang.AssertionError: An error occurred while retrieving the network addresses for this machine. The most likely cause is an error in the network configuration of this machine.
