 Develop and Deploy the Database Adapter Composite
 1. Open JDeveloper and create a new SOA Application.
 2. Create a database connection from JDeveloper.
 3. Connect to the database and create a table.
 4. Create an XML file quote.xml
 5. Create an XSD file quote.xsd.
 6. Create a Web Service adapter component.
 7. Create a Mediator service component and connect it to the Web Service adapter component.
 8. Create the DBAdapterInsertQuote Database Adapter component.
 9. Create a BPEL Process service component.
 10. Wire the DBAdapterInsertQuoteBPEL BPEL Process component to the DBAdapterInsertQuote.Database Adapter component.
 11. Assign the quote.xsd based input variables to your new BPEL process variables using an Assign activity.
 12. Wire and configure the Mediator component.
 13. Deployment.
 Configure the Application Server Resources
 14. Create the db_adapter_scott_orcl_astra1linux_ds Data Source in WLS for your database connection.
 15. Create a new Connection Pool for the Database Adapter.
 16. Configure the Database Adapter to use the db_adapter_scott_orcl_astra1linux_ds Data Source.
 17. Restart SOA Server
