Applies to:
Oracle JDeveloper - Version 11.1.2.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0, your ADF Business Components Model includes a View Object with multiple Key attributes of different types, eg Integer and String.
Your ADF BC Model project was created with the "Data Type Map" = "Java Extended for Oracle".
When you run your application and create a new record for that View Object, you get the following error/stack trace:
You have this problem when you create this application from scratch in JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0.
The same application created in JDeveloper 11g release 1 (eg 11.1.1.5.0), is working without any error.
Also, this application migrated to JDeveloper 11g Release 2 still works correctly.
