OAM 11g : HTTPS Not Maintained When Protecting WLS Application Through OAM Proxied WebGate (Doc ID 1363588.1)

Symptoms

When calling a protected resource through Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g, via SSL, the protcol is changing back to non-SSL. For example:

Calling https://<FQ_HOSTNAME>/<PROTECTED_RESOURCE> and you are redirected to OAM login page, via SSL at https://<FQ_OAMSERVER_HOSTNAME>:<WLS_MANAGEDSERVER_PORT>/....

After entering valid username and password, you are redirected back to your protected resource on a non-SSL port:

http://<FQ_HOSTNAME>/<PROTECTED_RESOURCE>
