OAM 10g: After OAM-Peoplesoft Integration, Users Without A Peoplesoft Account Can Login To Peoplesoft Application (Doc ID 1363960.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

COREid Access - Version: 10.1.4.3.0 and later   [Release: No Release Description and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

PeopleSoft application has been integrated with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 10g for Single Sign-On (SSO) login.

The User Store for OAM is Active Directory.

After successfully configuring Peoplesoft-OAM integration any Active Directory user with valid credentials is able to login to the PeopleSoft application, even if they do not have a Peoplesoft account. Users without Peoplesoft accounts are logged in as the public user configured for OAM integration.

This is not correct - only users with Peoplesoft accounts should be able to login to Peoplesoft application using OAM SSO.
