Goal

It's desired to use the Oracle Text Search indexing on a different database or different schema than the one used by the WCC, WebCenter Content server (formerly UCM, Universal Content Management).

This type of situation could be found when WCC is utilizing SQL Server but OTS capability is required.

This How To note will provide the steps to create and access the schema on the OTS database.
