Error Updating the User Profile Fields When WebCenter Integrated With Read-Only LDAP Server (Doc ID 1364709.1)

Goal

WebCenter Portal is integrated with a Lotus Domino LDAP Server which is Read-Only.

It is not possible to update most of the fields in My Profile.

- When a user tries to update the About me field on User Profile, this error is raised:

WCS#2011.09.30.13.01.23 : Irresolvable error(s) occurred. You may want to contact Administrator with the error reference.

The underlying error in the log files is as follows:
JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.util.MissingResourceException, msg=Can't find resource for bundle
...
caused by java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle oracle.webcenter.peopleconnections.profile.resource.ProfileMessagesBundle, key LABEL_DESCRIPTION

- Editing the 'Pager' field fails with
"WCS#2011.09.30.14.11.16 : Unexpected error saving attribute: Pager"
Other fields show a similar error to 'Pager'.
