Goal

We are trying to migrate phpbb forums over to Oracle Discussions.

Background: we are migrating phpbb forum over to Oracle Discussions. We are also integrating Oracle discussion with Oracle OID. Here is what we did
1. Create the user in Oracle OID
2. Create user in Jive using jive API
3. Migrate the forum data to Jive using jive APIs
After doing the above steps, we try to login to Jive application, we get errors. We see the unique constraint (FT4PUBWC_DISCUSSIONS.JIVEUSER_PK) is violated. After a search on google, we found that there is sequence ID stored in jiveid table. But we don’t know which one is for userid. That is reason I asked this question.
I have another question about data migration. What is Oracle recommended approach for migrating phpbb data (in mysql) to jive database? Currently, we are using Jive provided APIs. The process is very slow. It took around 12 hours to migrate 56,000 messages.
