Symptoms

After configuring the domain of WebLogic Server (WLS) with an LDAP server, if a user logs into an application (e.g., Web Center), the login succeeds but the user displayed is the incorrect one. After creating a new provider and modifying the specifics with the Identity Management server details (hostName and port), the users will start synching to WLS upon restart, but the application will show the following message during startup:
