Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0 Administration GUI Shows Long URL Link for the Configuration Names (Doc ID 1370308.1)

Symptoms

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8, and if the server configuration name contains "www." as the prefix, then the configuration displayed in the Administration GUI Configurations page will show links like

instead of the proper configuration name.

However, the "Configurations" page is displayed correctly when Firefox or Internet Explorer 9 is used to access the same Administration Server.

Changes

This problem may be not be seen if the same configuration was running on iPlanet Web Server 7 Update 8 or earlier, but happens after upgrading to iPlanet Web Server 7 Update 9 to 12.
