Credential Map Does Not Map Accounts Properly Coming from AD/LDAP (Doc ID 1370309.1)

Last updated on MARCH 05, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.7.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An account that was created in Active Directory (AD) is not being mapped for the UCM user, even with a Credential Map specified to do the mapping.

For example:

  1. An group named @IESE-ACCOUNT1_RWD is created in AD.

  2. A Credential Map is created with this line:

This mapping should translate all accounts that start with "IESE-" to accounts.

  3. The jpsuserprovider is configured so that "_" is the delimiter for account permissions.

  4. The user belonging to the @IESE-ACCOUNT1_RWD AD group should end up with having RWD permission to the account named ACCOUNT1.

However, User Profile shows the account for this user as IESE-ACCOUNT1_RWD.
