Release Date Changes When IdcCommand Used With UPDATE_DOCINFO (Doc ID 1373513.1)

Symptoms

You are using IdcCommand to update a metadata field for a content item. You pass a command file with the correct UPDATE_DOCINFO parameters, and the metadata field is updated correctly. However, you also find that the Release Date (database field dInDate) is updated to the current time. This should not occur. (NB: running this command does correctly update dReleaseDate.)

However, if you use the Update feature on the Content Info page, or invoke UPDATE_DOCINFO via URL, i.e.:

http://<UCM HOME>/idc/idcplg?IdcService=UPDATE_DOCINFO&dID=1&dDocName=DAP000001&dSecurityGroup=Public&dRevLabel=1&xComments=wow

you find that the Comments field is correctly updated, and the Release Date (dInDate) is not changed.
