Symptoms

When new columns are added to an existing BAM 11g Data Object, the BAM Architect throws the following error:

<Nov 1, 2011 4:05:06 PM EDT> <Error> <oracle.bam.adc> <BEA-000000> <ActiveDataCache: Exception occurred in method alter(_WHShipments)
Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

(*) WHShipments is the BAM Data Object name.


When it is checked the BAM dehydration database new columns were added to the Data Object table.
