Symptoms

The "non-contiguous" message is a good hint that there might be multiple definitions in a set of objects.   Warnings in the log may appear like the following example:

[20/Oct/2011:04:07:24 -0400] - WARNING<5383> - Entry - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Entry error Convert LDIF entry into LDAP entry, fast method. Error: non-contiguous attribute type for "uid" in entry dn="uid=<UID>,ou=People,<SUFFIX>
