WLS Datasource Monitoring Tab Does Not Show Information After Changing Target of Datasource from Cluster to Individual Server (Doc ID 1374902.1)

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.2 to 9.2
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A data source is targeted to a cluster which contains multiple servers. All the member servers of the cluster are up and running. The user changes the data source targets from the cluster to an individual server in the cluster (for example, MS1) in the Administration Console. In the console -> Data Source -> Monitoring tab, it should show the runtime status of the targeted server (MS1), but it is empty.

Restarting all the Managed Servers in the cluster refreshes the data for the Monitoring tab, so it shows the correct information. However, the admin console says that there are no restarts required after making this change.

It is also possible to work around the issue by unsetting the targets in the console and saving, then setting the new targets and saving again.
