(Doc ID 1376791.1)
Last updated on MARCH 27, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.4.0 and laterx86 64 bit
***Checked for relevance on 03-Jul-2013***
Symptoms
After starting soa_server1, the available disk space on /u01 slowly decreases until it reaches zero. In order to recover, the customer had to delete files named "null", "null.1", etc. in their $MIDDLEWARE_HOME/user_projects/domains/<domain_name>/servers/soa_server1/data/ldap/log directory.
The "null" files were filled with this error:
[11/Nov/2011 00:10:46 EST] ERROR - com.octetstring.vde.replication.BackendChangeLog: Error reading changelog entry#: 0
Changes
The customer recently commented out the two lines in their vde.prop file that specified the log and access files for the WLS embedded LDAP.
