Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2016

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customers have reported problems when trying to invoke MethodInvocationStatistics to harvest multiple attributes from the WLDFInstrumentationRuntimeMBean. They report following the directions from the WLDF documentation at (for example) http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/web.1211/e24426/appendix_instrum_library.htm#i1074825:

MethodInvocationStatistics(com.foo.Bar)(doNothing)(com.foo.Baz)(min|max)
Harvest the min and max execution time for the doNothing() method with the single input parameter of type com.foo.Baz.

This results in an error like this:

The following failures occurred: -- The following attributes are not harvestable for type "weblogic.management.runtime.WLDFInstrumentationRuntimeMBean":[MethodInvocationStatistics(*)(*)(*)(max|min)]

Errors must be corrected before proceeding.
