A web services client is deployed on WebLogic Server. It accesses the web services deployed on WebLogic Server on a different domain. The request flow is as follows:
Web services (client on WLS) <- https -> Load balancer <- https -> Apache Proxy server <- http -> Web services (host on WLS)
When the client accesses the web services, the number of connections in CLOSE_WAIT status keep growing on the web services client. All the CLOSE_WAIT connections are between:
Web services (client on WLS) <- https -> Load balancer
