Email Sending Fails When Authentication In Email Server ITResource Set to False (Doc ID 1381342.1)

Symptoms

Email sending functionality fails after configuring Email Server IT Resource in non-authentication mode i.e setting Authentication = false in Email Server IT Resource without giving the User Login and User Password.

But if the User Login and User Password in the Email Server IT Resource are Provided then the  email sending works properly.

OIM Server logs shows the following :-

[oracle.iam.passwordmgmt.impl] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '9' for queue:'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: oiminternal] [ecid:0000Ill3Lut3j445zV9DiW1CsmcC00039I,0] [APP: oim#11.1.1.3.0] [dcid:9579d0882b94f45c:-3894924e:12c575f21cf:-7ffd-0000000000004b7b] Sending Password Notification is not successful.Notification Exception occured.
