OAM running in SIMPLE mode - Unlock A Locked Used (Locked In Oam By Oblogontrycount) Is Not Working In OAM/OIM11g (Doc ID 1381934.1)

Goal


The install is default OIM/OAM 11.1.1.5 with OIM-OAM integrated for LDAP sync and SSO.

Used steps from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e15740/oim.htm#AIING4005 and OAM is running in SIMPLE mode.

Testing default use case which is when account is locked by OAM (five failed attempts) by updating attribute oblogintrycount, then user can unlock it by typing correct password and resetting password to new value, but that's not working. Following entries are seen in the logs:
