The SOA 11g Worklist Application displays a different behavior than seen in SOA 10g with regard to whether a group member can see tasks taken by users in the same group. Consider the following scenario:
Given two users, UserA and UserB in a Group called Group1:
- Create a task and assign it to the Group1 group
- UserA claims the task
In SOA 10g, UserB could see the task claimed by UserA, but UserB had no actions for the task. In 11g, UserB in Group1 cannot see the task UserA claimed.
The SOA 10g behavior is clearly useful if a workplace has two or more shifts that process the worklist entries, because each shift needs to see the entries claimed by members of the other shift in order to continue to process them.
Migrating from 10g to 11g with PS3 (184.108.40.206.0) introduced the altered the behavior.
