   This article is intended for users who are not familiar with Oracle Internet Directory LDAP command-line tools and would like to see the commands performed and the results using an OID 11g install.

    Following parameters were used during this demo:
 Sample LDAP Commands and Viewlets:
    a) Anonymous bind
    b) LDAPBind with credentials
    c) Validating a user
    d) Hidden Password LdapBind
 2. Adding Entries to the Directory
     a). Create following ldif file: Add.ldif
     b) Perform the ldapadd
 3. Performing a Ldapsearch
     a)This is an example of an ldapsearch  on user cn=user Two,cn=users,dc=company,dc=com
     b) Ldapsearch of the user container cn=users
 3.c Run the ldapsearch to obtain the last change number on Active Directory
