Standard Out File Freezes Logging After 2gb In Size

Symptoms

On : WLS 10.3.0 version, WLS JVM, in a Solaris system using the Sun JDK 1.6.0_05

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR


When using the property -Dweblogic.Stdout, the JVM standard output are redirected to a file defined as a value of this property.
When this file reaches a size of 2GB, the JVM output are not written in the file and this causes loss of logging data.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR


Loss of logging data should not happened when the output file has reached a size of 2GB.

STEPS FOR REPRODUCE

1. Create a webapp which quickly files data in the output file
2. Set -Dweblogic.Stdout to this output file
3. Deploy the webapp to WLS and to run it
