Capture Commit Server Fails to Commit a Batch when Running as a Service (Doc ID 1385939.1)

Oracle WebCenter Capture 10g - Version 10.1.3.3.0 and later

Symptoms

Batches are not committed to folder when Commit server is ran as a service.

Commit will occur when:

  1. The Commit Server is ran as an application.
  2. The commit is performed by the indexing station.

The Commit Server log will show the following entry indicating that the process has not completed:

12/14/11 09:22:39 3501 ATMVIMG05 Version: 10.1350.4. Start processing 'File Cabinet: DSWRT Main'.
12/14/11 09:22:39 3502 ATMVIMG05 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12/14/11 09:22:39 3503 ATMVIMG05 Start processing batch: RET0000000000010.
12/14/11 09:22:39 3504 ATMVIMG05 Committing batch RET0000000000010.
12/14/11 09:22:39 3511 ATMVIMG05 Committing with profile [ProfileName].
