Default Database Privileges and Roles for SOA Schemas in 11.1.1.5.0 (Doc ID 1386316.1)

Last updated on MAY 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.5.0 to 11.1.1.5.0 [Release 11gR1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This note applies to SOA 11.1.1.5.0 only.
PLEASE NOTE: using the RCU utility is the only supported method of creating SOA schemas.

One of the prerequisites of a SOA installation involves creating the SOA database schemas using the the RCU utility. This will create at least the following three schemas:

These schemas are usually prefixed with a custom prefix defined by the user. So, for example, if the prefix is DEV_ then the user and schema would be DEV_SOAINFRA.

You would like to know what privileges, roles and quotas these SOA database users have.

Note that the schema names mentioned above may be different, as they can be defined by the user. Apart from choosing a different prefix, the user may also choose a different schema name. The mapping between the schema and its function is done when creating the SOA domain with the config wizard.
