Oracle Forms for OCI - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The issue will happen with any FMW product using OAM 11.1.1.5 with mod_osso and OID 11.1.1.5.
 
 



Symptoms

The products log will contain the following message message -> dc=example,dc=com

If using Forms 11gR2, the end user will see the following message ->

"FRM-93330: Fatal authentication error: User does not have proper credentials configured in Oracle Internet Directory. Contact your system administrator."

The formsapp-diagnostic log will show ->

[FORMS_SESSION_ID: formsapp.7] unable to obtain user credentials; redirecting to Delegated AdministrationServices

[FORMS_SESSION_ID: formsapp.10] Encountered oracle.ldap.util.UtilException:
NamingException encountered when resolving subscriber - DN =dc=example,dc=com
[[ while attempting to retrieve database credentials from Oracle Internet Directory.]]

Note: This error may only appear when SSODynamicResourceCreate=false.  Therefore, when testing for issues related to RAD access, it is always a good idea to run some tests with this parameter set to false.
