Goal

The goal of this article is to highlight a problem when installing Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) on Windows 2003.

As stated in the installation Release Notes:

There is a problem with Windows Server 2003 for which Microsoft have released hotfix 924054 (see the Microsoft Support site for details). If your operating system is affected by this issue and you are unable to install the hotfix or use the workaround then please contact Oracle Support.
