Symptoms
When using Sun Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition 8.2 with Oracle RAC Fast Connection Failover, the JDBC Connections are not getting released.
When running:
netstat -an | grep 1521 |wc , the number of connections continue to increase and never seem to decline (where 1521 is the Oracle DB port).
