WebCenter Portal User Profile Page Displaying Error 'User Not Found In Identity Store' (Doc ID 1394134.1)

Symptoms

Note: WebCenter Spaces has been renamed to WebCenter Portal. In versions prior to 11.1.1.7, the term 'spaces' was used. In 11.1.1.7 and beyond, 'spaces' will now be referred to as 'portals'.

When viewing a user's Profile Page in WebCenter Portal, the follow error is displayed:

'User <full LDAP canonical name of the user> not found in identity store'.
