Symptoms

Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11.1.1.5.x and Oracle Identity Management (OIM) 11.1.1.5.x are being integrated using idmConfigTool utility. The integration Prerequisite steps have been completed successfully and idmConfigTool -configOAM is now being executed.

idmConfigTool does not complete successfully, it reports errors. However the automation.log file does not have any Error messages with further detail.

Example output:

$ ./idmConfigTool.sh -configOAM input_file=/home/fapps/config_oam.props
Enter ID Store Bind DN password :
Enter User Password for IDSTORE_PWD_OAMSOFTWAREUSER:
Confirm User Password for IDSTORE_PWD_OAMSOFTWAREUSER:
Enter User Password for IDSTORE_PWD_OAMADMINUSER:
Confirm User Password for IDSTORE_PWD_OAMADMINUSER:
There were errors found. Details have been logged to automation.log
$

The automation.log does not contain any error messages. The last lines in the log are the following:

FINE: OAM11gIntegrationHandler : createDumpParams()

There are no errors in the WebLogic Server domain or AdminServer logs either.
